Acquired in Jersey, where occupation forces labour was employed in the construction of sea defences against allied invasion, and Organisation Todt military personnel were tasked with order and security, this artifact was a 'leave behind' acquired by a resident of the island as a young child, and was purchased by us through an estate sale.
