US Army award for those involved in the war in Korea - loriginal with no brass finials this was a shoulder cord worn on dress uniform but without all the fancy additions of earlier fourrageres. This most certainly is an award for all US units who fought in country, and definitely worn by, 82nd, 101st Airborne amongst others. Quite a rare piece.
